If we look at the history of entertainment that we are trying to do, really? What are the goals and how can we reach them? I can not answer that for me, but I spent the last 18 years involved in various groups, the story has been redesigned and some conclusions about my experiences and perspectives.
Pageant, for me, must seek to understand the new and symbols, motifs, and stresses the environment from another time and place for the dual purpose of my personal enrichment, because the company I work history, educational purposes. I think before we can move us, that we must first know where we were.
Fewer people these days take the time to really look at our common experience and history as a species. At any time we are invited to go faster and, like a car on the road, the faster you go, the more I miss you. Pageant is an attempt to know what is happening at a deeper level in order to stop the car to talk to, so. With multi-sensory stimulation, the better able to absorb and understand the story are so far beyond a collection of data is relatively meaningless.
For me, historical and leisure go hand in hand these experimental archeology.
